Project-Based Learning: With PBL we can transmit long-lasting and life-applicable learning by simply dedicating 10-20 minutes daily to a month-long project. There are a variety of ways in which this can be done and I break it all down for you inside our program. But if you’d like to learn more about PBL check out this blog post.

Take Care of Yourself: It's important to prioritize your own well-being so you can be fully present and engaged in your child's education. Make sure to eat well, exercise regularly, and get enough sleep. You may also want to consider taking breaks throughout the day to recharge and refresh your mind. When I help parents create their Rhythm I often ask, how much time do you dedicate for yourself each day? Each week?

Create a Family Rhythm: Establishing a daily routine can help you manage your time more effectively and avoid burnout. Plan out your day, set specific goals, and create a schedule that includes time for breaks and relaxation. For help on how you can build a Family Rhythm following our method, take a look at this course.

Join a Homeschooling Community: Connecting with other homeschooling parents can provide valuable support and encouragement. Join online groups or attend local homeschooling meetups to connect with other like-minded individuals and share your experiences. I’ve made a list of 10 ways in which you can build a community around you in this IG reel.

Make Learning Fun: Incorporating fun and engaging activities into your teaching can help prevent burnout and keep your child excited about learning. It takes approximately 400 repetitions to create a new synapse in the brain unless it is done in play, in which case it only takes 10 to 20 repetitions. Try using games, hands-on projects, or creative writing assignments to make learning enjoyable for both you and your child.

By implementing these homeschooling hacks, you can manage your fatigue and thrive as a parent-teacher. Remember to take care of yourself, utilize online resources, and make learning fun for both you and your child. With a little planning and creativity, you can create a successful homeschooling experience for your family.
